Base items

Target audience

• Supplier organizations

Purpose

• Enable stock management on trade-item component level in the Supplier ERP by specifying the composition of trade-items with base-items.

Guidance

Base-items

• One or more base-items can optionally be specified as tradeItemComponents in trade-items;
• The number of base-items within a trade-item is specified by the numberOfItems in tradeItemComponents;
• Base-items consist of a type, name and an image;
• Base-Item types (can be extended):
  • Base-items= botanical products eg. plants and flowers or
  • Pot = hardware products e.g. pots and ceramic;
• Base items as trade items components are not available to customer organizations.
