Insights API

Insights is an application (app in Floriday) that grants suppliers and customers organizations insight in their price and market information. For suppliers and customers applications Insights provides a separate API Gateway which allows their applications to retrieve the average auction prices of the RFH Auction locations. Take note that the Insights API is supported by their own support organization and not the Floriday organization. This includes supplier, customer and developer support and supplier and customer registration.

Connecting to the Insights Gateway

The process of connecting to the Insights Gateway is similar to that of the Floriday Gateway. To connect to the Insights Gateway, you will need the client id & client secret of your client application on Floriday, including the Suppliers or Customers' API key.

If you haven't registered your client application yet, please read this page for instructions. Once the registration of your client application is complete, we will supply you with your client id and client secret. The customer will also be able to supply you with an API key.

Next, the customer will need to contact the Royal FloraHolland Client Contact Center and ask them for:

• A subscription to Insights (if the customer doesn't already have one).
• Access to the Insights API.

The Insights team will process this request. Once the request is approved, you may connect to the Insights Gateway.
