Purpose

• Enables a business relationship between a customer organization and a supplier organization.

Guidance

A connection:

• Can only be initiated by a customer organization;
• Applies to one customer and supplier organization;
• Can be seen by the supplier;
• Can be notified to the supplier;
• If enabled, enables customer access to supplier resources for placing orders e.g. catalog, certificates and supply;
• If enabled, enables the supplier to offer supply to customers with customer specific conditions;
• can only be disabled by a customer organization;
• If disabled, disables customer access to supplier resources for placing orders e.g. catalog, certificates and supply.
